My board game adventure

As a passionate board game enthusiast, I love playing board games all my life. With family and friends; cooperative or competitive; board games give me relaxation; satisfaction and peace of mind. As proud owner of a varied collection, I play board games of greats such as Uwe Rosenberg and Richard Garfield. Board games are challenging and never boring, even losing a game makes a board game evening a great success.

But what if I start designing a board game myself? Is it complex or simple? Should I first develop a theme or start from a mechanism? What steps are needed to achieve a result?
